Seasonal brews?

Mon Sep 17, 2012 2:25 pm

Haven't brewed a batch in a few months, and I'm thinking its time to get some seasonals going. Any ideas for a fall and a winter brew? Looking to do an extract kit, or an extract recipe.

I like IPA's and ambers (2 Hearted & Amberbock), but the wife likes wheats and maltier beers (Magic Hat #9, Yuengling), so something that would be a good compromise. Not crazy about pumpkin beers, but Ive never tried a pumpkin homebrew, so Id be willing to give it a go for fall my fall choice. Kind of clueless about winter brews though!

Wutch'ya guys got in mind?!?!

Perhaps you could try your hand at Bugeater's Oatmeal Raisin Cookie Amber.
Seems like that one gets rave reviews.
