A mysteriously flat Blonde Ale. Been in the keg for a few weeks, it's the 4th one off the same batch (previous 3 kegs were carbed fine). Keg's holding pressure. I've even turned the PSI up a little bit. Now the barleywine is way over carbed, but this thing won't take a bubble. Weirdest shit I've ever had kegging. It pours really fast though :D

Hmm.. over carbed barleywine, under carbed blonde... pretty tasty. I don't have the blend perfect yet, but I'll keep trying. Promise. Now was that 38.9% or 38.8%... fuck it. Better pour another. And another.

I have had that happen to me 3x in the past year. First with a Czech Pils, then my rebrewed oktoberfest for NHC, and finally a flanders red. Very strange occurrences. I was wondering if it had something to do with the gelatin I was using, but then all my other beers carbed up just fine. I have not tried recarbing the ofest or flanders. I just pulled them out of the kegerator and put them back in my storing fridge until I get the balls to try and carb them up later.

Oh, btw- cream ale with kolsch yeast (delicious....)

Homebrew Saison. Pretty good. Used just a touch of smoked malt.
