It's crazy how early and how many pumpkin beers there are this year.


I'm about to try my first sour beer tonight, but I'm scared'. I got a jolly pumpkin hoppy ale E.S or something like that...


EDIT: tried it, it was good until my wife said it tastes like bandaid... now I can't drink it :( It was bottled a 1.5 years ago...

It's ridiculous how many pumpkin beers are out and it's just too fuckin' early for them. Of course, I don't drink pumpkin beers so I may be biased.

Niko and Sully's Hop Crisis. Its going to get me drunk and im going to devour all of the pork buns that I just spent 2 hours making.
Bottled: fresh hop pale ale
On tap: Moose bile strong ale
In the cellar: Taqu'il's Fat Black Imperial Stout

Had an Olde Mecklenburg Hornets Nest and a Duck-Rabbit Milk Stout tonight. Both are very enjoyable.

BFM v225 Saison (Switzerland). Beautiful beer with just a touch of brett.

Drinking a Brett Saison I made in March. Wyeast 3711 and White Labs 650.
First attempt at using brett. Not a lot of brett character, but still a tasty saison.
Gimme oysters and beer (and Durian) for dinner every day of the year...
