I believe in Wednesday...

Mon Feb 06, 2012 9:25 am

A funny dialogue happened the other day, and I thought I would share.
A young black gangster-type inmate approached our pod corrections officer. The officer of the day’s name is Jim. Jim is an ex-Navy seaman. He was in the service for 26 years and he is one snarky SOB.
LaRoyal, the inmate, walked up to Jim’s desk and started in on the most profound conversation that I think I have ever heard.
“I believe in Wednesday, Jim!” LaRoyal exclaimed.
Looking a bit confused, Jim said, “Well, LaRoyal, I believe in Wednesday, too. It’s comes once a week without fail. It is something that you can count on.”
LaRoyal looked at him like the dog on the RCA logo- completely confused and said,”Na, Jim! I BE LEAVIN’ Wednesday!”
I almost fell out of my chair on the one. I still chuckle out loud when I think of it!

That's hilarious, hearing conversations like that and laughing at them might make your time a little more bearable. Keep your chin up! Your time will come before you know. The sooner the better of course!

That is good. There's nothing like some decent enunciation.

As it sits now, my outdate is May 17. It should be mid-April, though. They are trying to screw me out of28 days of home-monitoring. My lawyer and I are in the process of tracking done the proper documentation to prove it to them. It seems like Barney Fife is running the show around here. I have been assured by staff here and by my lawyer that they will have to credit them to me.
