I am partial to the Hinode SOT image:

You can see the light go through the atmosphere! Scientifantastic! There are movies from SOT here (though in Japanese).

Great photo ZZ. I had to do eyepiece projection, as I don't have a filter.
Can you believe I couldn't convince the kids to come out and look at a once in a 105 year-ish thing? :wink:
