Has anyone got a favorite morning beer?

I like Sierra Nevada Porter. No, I'm not an alcoholic. I just play one on TV.

I subscribe to the dry Belgian (Duvel) post hangover. And a stout or Belgian otherwise.

I find the occasional Heineken and coffee to be a good pair. Then and on a plane are pretty much the only two times I drink Heineken.

Have you ever tried it in the can? It's great in the can.

I don't do the morning beer anymore since I work 7 days a week & it involves driving about 100 miles round trip. However, I start around 12:30a so I'm usually home between 5:30 & 6:30a, so I guess it could still count. My old coffee porter recipe was always nice. And ever since I tried the Duvel dog hair trick, I can always go for one. Too bad I can't find anyone who distributes it here. Another one I really liked when I was doing early mornings at the ski resort in MI was a half shot of Crown or Jack in some strong coffee. Just enough to give it a bit of flavor.

I rarely get a chance for a breakfast beer. The better half always looks at me funny if I'm having a beer in the AM, so I'll usually throw some Baileys in my coffee. I love a Founders Breakfast Stout though.
