Unfortunately I won't be at BNA8, but hope that you and all those that are there have a great time. The ride didn't go all that smooth, I'd dropped a crank arm on the left side a few weeks ago, and had gotten it back on, but it loosened by the time wewere getting ready to set out tomorrow. Thankfully it wasn't when I was 15 miles in.... Anyway, took it apart and cleaned it out (threads were greasy, think it just kept working back out), but no one had the right socket or any locktight to put on the threads to keep the nut still. Ended up bulking the threads out with some first aid tape and using a non-metric socket to reattach, but by the time we got on the road, the sweeper for the family fun ride had already left as we were over an hour past our initial start time. We decided to do the family fun route instead of the 30 miler in case I lost my crank again. Got to blow past lots of kids and parents on mountain bikes, and went off course to ride across the top of a dam, probably bringing our total distance to 15 miles. Our cycling team's motto is "Start last, get lost, finish late."... I think I helped set a record for latest start. :jnj

Sounds like you had some dam fun after all those dam problems. Nothing like a dam bike ride to loosen up the dam muscles.

And, if you had been wearing your Spidey-Whiteys, you probably wouldn't have had any of those dam problems.

Congrats!

Online donations are still accepted, I think through the end of the month... as it sits, I'm only $50 short of raising a full $1000!
