"Sons Of Liberty"

Once an honest man could go from sunrise to its set
without encountering agents of his state or government.
But a sorry cloud of tyranny has fallen across the land,
brought on by the hollow men,
who did not understand that for centuries our forefathers have fought
and often died to keep themselves unto themselves, to fight the rising tide,
and that if in the smallest battles we surrender to the state,
we enter in a darkness whence we never shall escape.
Watt Tyler led the people in 1381 to meet the king at Smithfield
and issue this demand:
that Winchester’s should be the only law across the land,
the law of old King Alfred’s time, of free and honest men.
Because the people then they understood what we have since forgot:
that governments will only work for their own benefit.
And I’d rather stand up naked against the elements alone
than give the hollow men the right to enter in my home.
When they raise their hands up our lives to possess,
to know our souls, to drag us down, we’ll resist.
Stand up sons of liberty and fight for what you own.
Stand up sons of liberty and fight, fight for your homes.
So if ever a man should ask you for your business, or your name,
tell him to go and fuck himself, tell his friends to do the same.
Because a man who’d trade his liberty for a safe and dreamless sleep
doesn’t deserve the both of them, and neither shall he keep.

Who among you still thinks that you are free??

Given the current political climate, and the simple fact that everything we say and write here is being recorded for all posterity by those whom we think are "our" civil servants, perhaps this conversation should continue on a more secure channel. I do not know what that is since all our movements, mail, telephone calls, e-mails, tweets, and online comments are being recorded for others to pick apart at their leisure. Of course, this is a direct violation of the 4th Amendment of the US Constitution as my effects are being collected without my express consent by the authority of a secret Federal Court without Due Process.

That being said, I am now totally fucked as I have just told everyone the truth.

I thought it was tranny the first time I clicked on it to read it. I was terribly disappointed.

Does the "No religion or politics" rule apply to brewing as well as drinking?

I thought there was only a "don't be a dick" rule.

you're not free?

you have no liberty?

you might want to look around yourself at all the stupid shit you own and then think about what people in north Korea have.

maybe your life just sucks and the shit you own is crap.

The great thing about it is that if you have the capacity you can do something about it.
And if you don't, you can complain about it on an internet forum.
suck it
