Still waiting for the Naughty Nurse costume

I'm in my last 6 months of Nurse Practitioner school. Good luck! If you want some advice shoot me a PM. My advice that I will give you no matter if you want it or not is that once you finish nursing school and get a job and learn all that it entails, keep learning. Get your ACLS, CCRN, or whatever specialty certification you want. Then go to grad school. You will find out quick that there are a ton of back stabbing bitches who have been a RN for years and years and want to be the "top RN" forever. The only way to rise above it is to further your education.

I have heard this from several reliable sources. I would love to go on but for the moment I have to actually get accepted into the nursing program first. Thank you.

The South Dakota State University College of Nursing Admissions and Scholastic Standards Committee has met and reviewed the applications for the nursing major in Brookings for Spring 2016. After reviewing your application, it was determined that you did not meet the criteria for admission to the nursing major.


I am disapointed but I do have my big boy shorts on and have not had a case of the feels in a long time, so this is only a minor setback, and only gives me a chance to raise my GPA.
