Well, good on ya. This is the free-market at it's finest. If you like the show, it's gotta be worth (at the very least) less than $.07 a day. Just sayin'.
I may be drunkish, but to me it's worth a whole lot more than that to keep the BN Army going. When two BNers meet for the first time they may not know each other, but they are far from strangers. Whether at the anniversary party, OBF, GABF, NHBC or dozens of smaller beer events spanning the globe, when you see a BN Army shirt you know you have just met a new friend. I know I have. Plus, you DO get a lot of brewing knowledge that was not as easily accessible just three years ago.
Buy stuff if you can. Donate if you can. Don't feel bad if you can't do either though, you're still part of the family, and there is no roster of contributing members. For the Newbies, this tread is not here to shame you into forking out the cash, it's just to remind everyone that the opportunity is there for those who can afford it. If you can't afford $2.50/month today, maybe someday you can. Or you can always make a one time donation after your tea-totaling Aunt leaves you some scratch in her will. Remember: A kind word to the sponsors doesn't cost a cent, and if you're ordering supplies online - please patronize the sponsors and let them know why you ordered from them.

At ease.

You're damn right, sir. When I order my kit from B3, I'm gonna let them know that I'm part of the BN Army...and I'm going to ask JP to sign my recipe sheet. Good noon.
