That's some really cool stuff guys, thank you all, especially Lufah!
I'm so new to this.....I could hardly tell the difference between hops and grains...sort of. As things go, I downloaded qbrew but I also found the recipe for Poor Richard's Ale converted to extract on-line. If any of you guys want it, i'll be more than happy to either post it or send it to you.
Forget my meanderings, here's the link to the post: http://www.thebrewsite.com/2006/01/23/p ... xtract.php

So it's easier to find....

I was there for the one last night. Lots of fun and great info.

Without question, the greatest invention in the history of mankind is beer. Oh, I grant you that the wheel was also a fine invention, but the wheel does not go nearly as well with pizza.

Wth? My house is almost a mile east of where the frapper shows it! Also, who's car is that in my driveway? I drive a gold Cherokee, and my wife drives a white Prism, so what's up with this dark blue/black sedan? Guess we had unexpected visitor's, or once again someone uses our driveway for a turnaround into the Madison st. cul de sac :-/ At any rate, pretty cool stuff, even if my house is covered by trees. Ttyal, and ilbcnu!

Prost!

For a person who spouts sarcasm more than full truth, I do have a hard time recognizing it. But, if you were serious Zym, I believe there are delays as to when these photos are taken, I have heard the current images are a few years old and are about to be updated at some point soon.

It's been a long time since I've looked at the Frappr map. It's amazing how many point are now on the map. What's even more amazing is that I'd bet that for each point on that map, there are at least 1-2 other regular listeners to the shows, maybe more.

I also know another site that can do the same trick with zooming in on your house. Try google earth. it's just as fun.

I've used Google Earth before. Damn thing is a lot of fun to play with. I'd love to use it to pinpoint breweries on the map to zoom in on and set up a fly around the world to all the great breweries of the world.

Now that's a good idea. I'll see what I can do about the few that I know of. I'm not as good as Zymergyst, but I'll try.
