Well, its been a long time since I've been in here.

It's comforting to see that the Rat Pad hasn't changed. Still a filth hole rotting in its own debauchery.

Feels like home.

Brewed up an English Pale Ale.
Hit my mash temp perfect.
Hit my pre-boil gravity
HIt my OG
Placed it in the new temp controlled cabinet
Cleaned up and found the 1 ounce final hop addition sitting on the beer frig. :twisted: :asshat:
Damn Rat Pad did it again.

I feel your excitement Niko, relax and have a great time with the family.

I will be on the shores of the US in just over 2 weeks and counting (thats if they let me in, douche bags). Better still I have 4 weeks off work and plan to do a lot of nut scratching and beer tasting.

Oh, almost forgot, holiday weekend comming up and its Rat Pad day in less than 6 hours. Does life get any better?

Just a few hours to the local Oktoberfest. Eighteen different german beer taps. 10 Texas beer taps, and 30 other beer taps. I am a beer volunteer supervisor. Can you say "Fox in the hen house?" See ya'll Monday! :mrgreen:

Took a nap with little Niko this afternoon, took him to the store where we found Dogfish Head 90 minute ipa and bought some to try for the first time, as well as Lagunitas Imperial Stout.
