Brewing on campus at the University of Houston!

Wed Feb 01, 2006 2:49 pm

Hello everyone, I an new to the BN, and thanks to a friend, I am hooked. Actually, I have been spreading the wonderful hobby to fellow Cougars at the University of Houston. We even started an official brew club, Cougar Brewers! Been brewing for about a year, and now I am getting to the point where the beer is getting really good and the hatred of bottling has gotten really bad.

Welcome to the forum LBB. Apparently you lied on your registration. You should have checked the box for friends of Jeff. That way it can reject your application

Without question, the greatest invention in the history of mankind is beer. Oh, I grant you that the wheel was also a fine invention, but the wheel does not go nearly as well with pizza.

Thanks jeff for backing me up, you also beat me to the punch...how serious can you take someone who names himself after a spongy soap applicator and skin exfoliator! Hell, I didn't even learn what a lufa/lufah was until my girlfriend bought one.

Hey,

I'm in Honolulu now but am planning on returning to H-town this summer. Is the club only open to students of U of H or can anyone come aboard?
