I've noticed that, too. The way I figure it must work, is that opening the regulator allows lotsa gas to go into the tubing between tank and stone. That gas still has to squeeeeeeze its way out through the pores of the stone, which happens more slowly. Even if you quickly shut the flow off at the regulator, it will still take some time for that pressure inside the tubing to dissipate itself out through the stone.Chris_J wrote:I only get bubbles when I crank the regulator open on my little red tank. I obviously turn it right down to avoid waste but even when I close the regulator all the way while it's bubbling, it continues bubbling for a good while....weird.
The B3 setup I have doesn't measure the flow. I just turn the regulator up until I see bubbles, and then I turn it down slowly until the bubbles nearly stop.smurfe wrote:What kind of O2 flow are you all using to oxygenate with?
