+1 to mylo, check your mash thermometer. if it's off , those FG's might be as low as it goes. the safale-05 is a good choice if your thememometer checks out.

AS JZ would say............weeeelllllll

I'm using a RIMS system, with a LOVE controller on it, and also have a brewing thermo mounted on/in the kettle, and the temps are right on with each other, but I will double check them again tomorrow morning before I brew the community brew. And I have already pitched the dry yeast, so I'll wait it out for a little bit and see what happens, then keg it up and see how it is........the hydro samples taste fantastic....not too sweet, not too dry....just right to me....but it is the first time I have brewed these recipies.

So for now, I'm gonna RDWHAHB and see what happens next.

Thanks for the replies.

Brew on my brothas and sistas!!

WEEELLLLL, I kegged them about 1 1/2 weeks ago, dry hopped the Denny Rye IPA, and carbed them both up..... I've been drinking them, pretty good actually, might have a little alcohol bite.. not sure, but they both are drinkable. So I'm drinking them....

Oh, and at kegging, I added an additional teaspoon of Vanilla Extract to the VRP....pretty damned good I think, I was drinking one last night during the show.

Thinking I might send some to the Rat Pad for further evaluation.
