Was wondering if anyone had experience doing this. There is a particular hefe-weizen that I like a lot and have a feeling that the difference is the yeast they use. I've heard that it is the fermentation strain and not a lager yeast in the bottom of the bottle and thought maybe trying to snag the strain was worth a try. Any thoughts, suggestions? The beer is Schneider's "Wiesen Edel-weisse" it has a green label.
