Apparently those rat bastards at the LHBS screwed me on grain. I noticed the sack had a rip in it that was taped shut but it looked pretty normal. After my OCD inventory, weighing & record keeping, it was 2.1 kilos short. I've got a sack of Franco-Belgian Vienna sitting around with no particular plan, so I subbed that in for the last kilo (I was short a kilo for the batch & I should have had 1.1 kilos left in inventory). I doubt I'll even notice much of a difference since the recipe called for 12 kilos of 2-row & only 1 got subbed. And with a kilo of chocolate malt in there, the calculated color barely changed. Oh, the controllers kicked, time to take off my pants & grab a grain bucket.
