I have heard that the Friday night festivities can be pretty wild. We don't have a club lover this way (Hillsboro), so I go and taste instead.

Clubs have their own lovers? I'll have to bring this possibility up at the next meeting.

Just wrapped up a English Double IPA attempt to rival Pliny. Using UK Admiral, Pilgrim and unfortunately had to deviate from the UK hops by subbing in German Northern Brewer for UK Challenger and I also threw a little Green Bullet in there just to clear out the freezer.

Janet's Brown... if you can call it that.

Sorry Tasty, I really screwed the pooch on this one. This might have been one of the worst All Grain brew days I've had in a long time so I'm going to need to re-brew this again in a couple weeks to do the recipe justice.

I brewed a stout yesterday, you could call it a strong American Stout, lot of hops at the end, Chinook and Nugget but it's gonna be a monster, OG was 1.083, I was only going for no more than 1.070 but I seem to be getting more efficiency lately out of my mashtun.

Oh and is it ever BUH-LACK! It's blackity blackity black! And smells so roasty too. I'm excited to see how this one comes out using a yeast I never used before, WLP013.

Here's it in the carboy folks-
