Got my mash going for a strong, pale Biere de Garde. Bumping up the grain bill for a recipe I brewed last year that came out well for me.

Ha, ha! Day off. Gotta love it! Brewing up my big daddy Old Ale. This one should be getting pretty tasty around next Christmas or so. Definitely one to sip by the fire while sitting on a nice leather chair with a smoking jacket on. Oh wait, I don't smoke....oh well, the image is there anyway! :)

Half way through the mash of a late spring Dortmunder Export. I have really been slacking on making lagers this year. Oh well, time to get a few under my belt before the heat really kicks in!

Did my first and probably last Triple Brew Day yesterday. Brewed a Copper Hefeweizen, Scottish Export 80/- and did a parti-gyle from both of those batches to do some of hybrid Belgian Dubbel. Turns out doing 3 yeast starters at the same time with only one stirplate and one 2L flask tasks some creativity.

Impressive! That must have been a hectic day. I am sure lots of planning on thought go into pulling that one off! I used to do double batch brewdays, but they became to much of a PITA. One beer would always come out great and the other would get fucked up somehow. I would either forget to add clarifier, or miss my mash temps, etc. It is nice to get 2 batches done with just a bit more time though! Way to go!

Brewing batch #150 today. It's a wee heavy braggot that I'm calling Wee Honey. 45# malt & 12# of white sage honey.
