I'm alone for Thanksgiving, so I might make it a brew day...

Doing the second leg of a 30bbl batch of Bulldog Red Irish Ale. I am excited about this one because our whirlpool pump is running better and the trub cone we had in the bottom of the kettle yesterday was killer. I am hoping to see the same results today. I am also thinking about our IPA and considering the impact our more vigorous whirlpool will have on utilization of our late additions.

Just got done 'brewing' up a batch of my Black Butte Stü. I always let it sit in the fridge for a day before devouring, but a little taste test ended up becoming half of a meal. I doubled the amount of porter this time & it completely made up for me spacing out on the fresh rosemary, thyme & bay leaf.

So the whirlpool is really getting it done. The cone that we are getting now is far superior to the others we have had in the past. I will try and post some pics of our trub cone from one of the coming batches.
