I'm going for a week over Thanksgiving because my girlfriend's lesbian aunt's girlfriend owns a houseboat. Where do I need to go and drink while I'm there? As far as I can tell it's pretty much stumble into a place and find good beer but I'm from FL and currently live in HI so, suffice it to say, I want to get the real good shit in the opposite of my beer-wasteland experience.

The boat is on Lake Union, not sure which side. Also, I will probably not be able to convince her family to drive to Chuckanut, any idea where I can find it in the city?

I have had chuckanut at the 74th st alehouse on phinney ridge, as well as other locations I cant remember as I was drinking. Brauers in Fremont and bottle works in Wallingford are the guide book locations, but these days it seems just go into Ballard and you will find something good (though the people are often way too cool).

good way to find their beer. I always see that it is ontap at the College Inn. Not sure how nice the place is, since i know it is a cheap hotel to stay at in U district.

I tried using that and it sucked pretty hard, none of the places on that map listed their beer. The spots say they were last updated 3 years ago so that might have something to do with it.

How about some Washington local breweries that I should be on the lookout for?
