Looks like the valve has the orifice built into it. The compensator in the regulator uses this orifce the limit the presure drop across it (20 Psi or 30 Psi regulators), thus the outpout of gas and thus the output of the burner. Assumed.

And yes, ball valves are not intended for metering, but they do work. I still use one, but since I run it on the BK only, when would I meter? Hope all is running well!

Hey there tipsy irishman,

Nice looking rig. I have three of the same burners and am designing a stand very similar to what you came up with. Any chance you would share the dimensions or plans for how you put it together?
