I call it an "eBay Hangover". When you check your email the next morning to find out what you bought online the night before - while drunk.

"Honey, remember I told you about the Porsche for sale online?"
"Whyyyy?"
"Ha ha, funny thing musta happened last night."
"Not again!"
"I pick it up next Saturday. In Texas."
"And just how are you getting to Texas?"
"Ha ha, That's funny too - I bought a one-way plane ticket."
"You're an idiot."

Well, that could be how the conversation would go. Just sayin'.

So I've got 2 taps on my fridge, one vent-o-matic, and one piece of shit chrome tap.
After spilling a pint of amber the other night b/c the non-forward sealing tap stuck I decided to get a Perlick.
While placing the order I decided to get a few more things:

PBW (4 lbs) 1
5.2 ph Stabilizer - 1 lb 1
Silicone (1/2 in.) - By the Foot 15 1
Keg Lid Foot 1
Rebuild Kit For Cornelius Kegs 2
Ball Lock Bev Out (BLACK) - Barb 1
Beverage Line - 3/16 in Silicone Tubing - By the Foot 6
Bag - 24 in. x 24 in. Medium 1
Foam Control (1 oz) 1
CO2 Regulator - Dual Gauge 1
Servomyces - Pack of 6

Do you see a Perlick faucet in that order?

And aparently drunken 0006 decided he needed another regulator. No idea why.

Fuck it :aaron

006 -

That's pretty much the story of my last few months - go to buy one thing, buy 7 others while forgetting what the hell I went there for in the first place. Then when I go to order the original item I forgot in a second order, I always buy just enough additional stuff to qualify for the More Beer "free shipping" benefit.

I think I originally needed to buy some compression bushings ($0.50 worth) and over the course of the summer have spent a grand on doo-dads, kits, and misc equipment. I'm calling MoreBeer my new heroin dealer!

By the way, I am in need of a new regulator... care to make a deal??

No, I think I'll keep it, I want to get a chest freezer and another regulator would probably be nice.
Guess what my next drunken purchase will be.

Once you get starrted down the chest freeezer path, make sure you get deep enough so you can't crawl out... it's more fun that way!!
