Hmmm, so if you wanted to brew higher gravity beers, couldn't you either:
a. increase the mash ratio or
b. increase the boil time?

Just because its stated volume is 5 gallons doesn't stop you from brewing a smaller volume.

Actually, the opposite. BIAB is the Braumeister without the stainless and the pumps. BIAB actually evolved from an online discussion about how to build at home and on the cheap, a single vessel brewery like the braumeister.
