I wish I could laugh at it, but I have no idea what I'm looking at.

Yes - every one survived, so I thought I could get away with it.

This is a plane that crashed right after takeoff today in New York. It is also a leaky jet. The old dude is a photo of the pilot.

It really is a miracle!

I think we should all raise a toast in Chesley B. Sullenberger III's name to all that made it through this terrifying flight.

triple-oh_six ,
I've got a 200K and a 100K burner from 3B on my S.S. sytem. Removing the jets does no damage. I removed all of my jets because all of them leaked. The burner base looks like cast iron but it's not; some kind of pot metal. Being a machinist I noticed that all the tapped holes in the base are over-sized. Meaning, they were all tapped too deep. This makes sealing the taper theads a bitch. I wrapped all the jets (the threaded part) in pink (gas-grade) teflon tape. It's tidious work but this does prevent the threads from leaking propane and burning yellow. Some to the jets needed to have the air holes (the cross-drilled holes on each jet) drilled out some because, even with the thread sealed properly, the jet still burned yellow.
On more recent brew systems I've built, I installed various sizes of the Banjo burners from Northern Brewers, 'cause they don't present this problem. Also, the Banjo burners make less noise. Cheers.

Sorry for this tangent, but ...

BadRock, I did a search on the site that supplied that image for Loctite and got 185 hits. Since you appear to be knowledgeable about such things, do you know what of all of those I should use to keep the screws that hold my snowboard bindings on my snowboard from coming out?

-Eric
Aging: Gotlandsdrickå, Baltic Porter in Bourbon barrel, Olde Ale #2 in whiskey barrel
On Draft: Nothing. Building a walk-in cooler right now.
