I have been looking around for ideas for a brewstand for about 3 or 4 years now - was going to do wood (because of the name) - but then I came across this guy's site - http://www.slobrewer.com - his sculpture looked perfect, and this guy even posted a cut list and a Google Sketchup file with dimensions, etc. -
I showed my Father in-law, and he said that one of his retiree buddies was looking for a project to weld...
two weeks later (and 119 bucks worth of steel, and eventually homebrew) - voila!!
If the picture doesn't show up - the link should work...(I haven't tried posting pics yet..)

He even made a mash paddle from a picture I showed him:

I just wiped this thing down with solvent, will prime and paint with flat black bbq paint for the stealth look. Next, I will be bolting on the pump, water filter, and hopefully a burner will show up at my door here (I haven't a clue how to do that job yet - I'd like the burner to "float" via hard pipe similar to how the brutus 10's burners are done - any tips?)
cheers!
