Working on my brew sculpture

Tue Jul 06, 2010 2:56 pm

I picked up some steel today to get started on my brewing sculpture. It will be similar to a Brutus 10 except I'm using a RIMS tube with a heating element and the MT will be gravity fed into the boil kettle. So I guess it's actually a crossbreed between a Brutus and a Brew Magic. I plan to start welding it together next week. Hopefully I can get it welded together in a day or two then start plumbing the gas lines and wiring the electronics. :D

I got the frame welded together this weekend. I plan to get some pics posted after I get the frame painted.

Standard brewing porn reply:

"I hate you. So does Bub. Leave it to me in your will. Is your garage unlocked?"

Sometimes a little hatred can be enjoyable. It's unlocked but Jax is usually in there too. He's my brewing buddy.

Thanks for the kind words. The only bad part is I'm having brewing withdrawals.

mastiffs are nice dogs though. People are just afraid of them because they're so big. I'll bring the danes over to play with him while I lift the rig :D

Nice start to your system though
