15 gallon boil on a gas stove??

Whip out the bad boy, wrap a towel around it. fill it with water and see how long it will take (if at all). Thats the only way to find out.

Usually when I whip out my bad boy and wrap it in a towel, I'm more interested in forcibly expelling fluids from it rather than filling it with them.

I was doing 5 gallon AG batches on my stove for a year, and I finally broke down and got a turkey fryer when I saw one on sale for $40. I just finished my first batch on it. It boiled way faster, but there is a learning curve - I had a bad boilover and boiled off about a gallon more than I thought I would. I bought it because I want to do 10 gallon batches and I know that ain't gonna happen on my stove.
