Ha! Great responses guys! OP here, definitely didn't think my own question through as far as breakability goes. Could turn out like that Twilight Zone episode with the dude who breaks his glasses once he finally has all the books and time he could ever need.
So more to the heart of what I'm interested hearing from you all is what, to you, makes/is the ideal, all-around beer glass?
I like the Allagash glass because it forms a nice head, has a bit of an inward pitch to the top that seems to concentrate aromas, and has a fairly balanced height to width ratio. Plus, it has the laser etching that promotes foam stability. Seems to me it's well suited to a very wide range of styles.
What do you all think? Always looking for some new glass suggestions.
