Ball lock or pin lock kegs?

Really you just need to pick the one that seems more available in your area and stick to that one. I do all ball lock and I hadn't seen a pin lock until a few months ago.

The one thing I tried to look at was what the members of my club were using. This makes life more simple for club events and even swapping or borrowing kegs.

Also, due to ball locks being more prevelent in the market place, they tend to be a little cheaper used.

All I can find anymore for the shop are pin locks, ball lock supplies seem to be dwindling. I started with ball locks, and I like the relief valve, but my next personal kegerator will be based on pins.
