Hi all,
I've got a query regarding Jamil's whirlpool wort chilling technique.
I'm wondering whether you should be generating a vortex in the kettle while chilling like you can do with a stir plate or are you simply looking at getting the wort moving in the kettle.
Are we after a vortex or simply a slow spinning of the wort ?
Any comments, especially from those who have tried this, would be greatly appreciated.
Also, any idea what march pumps have high enough flow rates to generate a vortex, if a vortex is what we're trying to achieve ?
Thanks,
mexican.
