I've got a few days to decide, I'm going through Brewing Classic Styles as we speak. I want something I can make with a single infusion mash and a batch sparge. Any ideas?

"No short measure" is tasty. Super easy and small. It would be a nice, simple beer for you to break in the new tun. :jnj

Follow up on the tun - I made a braided stainless steel ring into a compression t-fitting. One end of the braid fit neatly into the compression fitting and looks great, but the other end got kind of crushed in the process. The rest of the ring looks fine, but one end of the braid is kinda squashed.

I'm tempted to cut a little off the braid where it is crushed and re-fitting it, but I'm nervous about crushing more of it in the process since it doesn't have the hose inside of it anymore.

Just wondering how big of a deal this is...
