I wish I had a pic of the inside. I read in BYO and used the stalite dish style vege steamer for my false botom. It's holes are a little larger than needed and alow a small amout of grain through. I do need to get a real false botom, or a piece of pef stainless.

Yep I'm traler trash, And have updated my ghetto system. I'll post pics latter.

Instead of that veggie steamer, use this item that I used on a keggle mash tun for a friend.

This will fit through a standard 12" hole in the top of the keggle due to the notch in the edge. The stainless screen will keep the grain out much better than the veggie steamer. I still used a short braid on the end of the pick up tube to filter any that get around the screen. A big advantage is that it is cheap, only about $10 plus shipping unless you can find a local location for Kitchen Collection. Other folks have a similar screen, but generally for many more $$$.
