As for the drums in the background, I have no idea. They are my dad's. He was a drummer in a band in the late 70's and early 80's, so for all I know they may be relics. He is a badass on the drums, that much I know.

As for the manifold, I actually don't get any loss there, as I have filled the bottom of the "T" with food-grade silicon. Even if I didn't though, the wort loss would be minimal.

The spout is not on the bottom, unfortunately, but rather about a half an inch up. So without the "feet" the manifold doesn't sit level. The wort loss is really so minute that it isn't really an issue.

My friend had suggested making a layer of food grade silicon on the bottom of the tun to level it... but that is alot of work.

Wow Mayer! I've always thought that 80/20 would make a great stand but that stuff is like $2.50 a foot. That must have cost a small fortune. I'll bet Unistrut would be a much cheaper way to go but then it won't look as cool either!
