Brew Kettle Cover?

I’m about to make the transition to all grain after 6 extract batches. I made my mash tun out of a 36 qt cooler w/ a slotted copper manifold, and recently picked up a nice burner and kettle from someone at work.
The kettle is a 10 gallon polar ware with a stainless ball valve and a false bottom. The only issue is that the guy I got this from didn’t have the lid to the kettle. I tried looking online, but didn’t have much luck finding just the lid to a brew kettle.
Has anyone ran into this situation, or does anyone know of a place to get replacement lids?
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

I bought a lid at a local restaurant supply store. They had a bunch of sizes and I was able to find one that worked nicely for $18. Don't know if you have something like that available. Good luck.

You really don't need a lid for your brew kettle except to keep insects out. I have cut lids out of plexiglass or just draped a towel over the boil kettle during cooling.
Good luck!

The lid would only be used while I was cooling the wort.

+1 for anything will do.
I brew with the lid off but I put one on to keep crap out during cooling. Since I use a keggle, it didn't come with a lid, I just used a random one that covers the opening. I didn't worry about a perfect fit since it won't seal anyway with my immersion chiller in it.

I just place some aluminum foil on top of the kettle during cooling.

Sorry. Good point. I kinda thought that went without saying. I use a lid for my HLT which is also a converted keg like my boil kettle. Heavy Duty foil works real well to cover your kettle while cooling as you can wrap it around the in/out tubes of an immersion chiller if that's what you are using.
