What pH meter do you use?

Thu Jun 28, 2012 12:13 pm

I've read Kai's article on buying a pH meter. http://braukaiser.com/wiki/index.php?ti ... ying_Guide

I plan on using it for mash and kettle pH readings. I also want to keep it under $100. What pH meter do you use, or recommend for my purposes? Thanks.

Sounds like this is less than what you are looking for, but I use ph strips that I buy from my LHBS for <$5 for a package containing more than I could use in a year. Not super precise, but precise enough for my purposes.

There are 'beer range' strips that I use to make sure I'm in the ballpark. That's working for now but I will eventually get a real meter.

I have the Milwaukee meter from morebeer. http://morebeer.com/view_product/18715/ ... eter_w_ATC

If you wait until the deal of the day you can get it for $110.
