Newly made Keezer set up finally - Only get gas from taps?

I recently built a 3 tap kegerator out of a Kenmore chest freezer - I have the psi set to 12, split and going to two kegs, one commercial(Double Jack) and one homebrew. I don't get anything out of the taps but CO2 and it's damn frustrating after putting all the time in (no the kegs aren't empty). I use 5/16 ID for CO2 and 3/16ID 7/16OD for the beer line. The length for the beer line I've changed from 2ft to 5 ft. Tried just putting CO2 on perlick D commercial coupler and 5ft of beer line and still only hssssssss of gas coming from tap when attempting to pour. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Are the gas in and liquid out lines accidentally reversed? On a commerical tap head/coupler, the liquid comes out the vertical tube, and the gas goes in the horizontal tube as far as I know.

I agree .... you've got to have the lines backwards .....

First thing I would do is get rid of the split CO2 line temporarily and get one keg working. I haven't hooked up a commercial tap in about 20 years so start with the corney keg. If the beer line is connected to gas in and the CO2 line is connected to beer out, you will hear bubbling of CO2 into the beer and initially you will get gas out of the tap then the beer should foam and start coming out of the tap.

Keep it simple, get it working on one then add number two.
