one gallon batches

i want to make one gallon batches for making tests batches

do you just use 1/5 of the ingredients?

do the boiling and fermenting change?

let me know what you guys think

Most things are just a fraction of a full batch except boil off rate which will still be some volume per hour based on pot geometry.
