Biscuit malt

I am still fairly new to home brewing and havn't developed my palate completely. I have had a few beers that taste a bit 'dusty'. I really can't stand that taste. I recently made a session brown ale with biscuit malt in it. I am not sure but could the biscuit malt be the culprit? Does anyone know what flavor I am talking about?

Does it taste kind of like Fat Tire? I think Fat Tire has a fair amount of biscuit malt in there. Biscuity is a hard flavor to describe but once you get a good reference you notice it when it starts popping up in other beers.

Lol!!! That's funny. But no I don't think that is the taste. It's like drinking water from a cup that had a layer of dust in it. I guess I should take a sample to the guys at my home brew store.
