National secret or what..??

Wed Sep 07, 2011 11:04 am

Hi guys...

Clone of Lagunitas New dogtown paleale - how come its nowhere to be found ?? anybody made anything that would pass as a clone ?
Guess the recipe is locked in the same drawer as the Rosswel file....or buried in Jimmy Hoffas briefcase..
Anyway, i would love to make me some, so if you kknow how, please share it.

Thx.

Sounds like a job for Tasty and CYBI.

Have you tried shooting the brewer an e-mail? They were very forthcoming with CYBI and I suspect would be cool with giving you some hints at their recipe/procedure for this beer. Maybe come up with a recipe of your own and ask for a critique, to show you're doing the work yourself and not just asking for a recipe.

I suppose I could do that, - Thought of doing a scaled down version of the IPA, but hopping, i dont know about that...i got my system dialed in, and brew good and ( relatively ) tasty beer, but Im not much of a recipewriter..

So maltwise i would do the Cybi-thing, but scaled back, but about the hop, man i dont know

I emailed the brewery about this beer and they stated go look at the BN. I replied that beer was not discussed on the BYBI shows, and they told me they were very busy and couldn't help.

I politely told them thank you very much for your time.
