Re: Recipe audible on a Robust Porter

This beer is really good as is. The black patent does NOT go over the top with ashy flavors or any kind of too harsh flavors. Ive tried this beer with San Francisco lager yeast and it turns out 10x better as is with the Cal Ale. Jamil knows what he is doing with this recipe. He has used this as the base to a lot of variations which should tell you it is a winner. My friends aren't really beer enthusiasts like us and this beer still holds the record for the fastest a keg has been drained. And I don't even buy porter very often.
