What category would you enter this in if you don't add the coconut? I brewed this and used 2 whole oz. of coconut extract and I just can't taste it. Could be me but that seems like a lot of extract to just not pick up. I may send it into comps just because it is a great beer. I may try to dose a couple bottles and enter it into the specialty category as well.

I found the extract at my local Supermarket in the spice section. Near the vanilla extract. It was made by McCormick.

Old thread I know, but I was wondering how this beer compares to Maui Coconut Porter? I remember Doc saying that it tastes like a mounds bar, I must say that the first thing that came to mind in rating the Maui was mounds bar. Thought?
