Port Brewing Shark Attack Red Double Ale

Thu Sep 09, 2010 11:33 am

I just finished a bottle of this beer, and I separated it into two glasses. The second glass I poured was really cloudy, and had a lot of sediment settle out by the time I finished it. I was just wondering, is this considered trub? Is this yeast that just continues to fall out of solution as the beer ages a bit? I love this beer, and both glasses were delicious, but I was hoping for some insight into this phenomenon. Ive had several kegs of Greenflash Hop Head Red which seems similiar, and the last 6 beers of the keg are usually very hazy and thick, like the second glass of Shark Attack but on a larger scale. Thanks.
Jason.
