I've attended the GABF for the past six (or maybe seven?) years including having a Pro-Am there last year with my friend Mark (saison with Southern Star). I'm *hoping* to go this year because Mark and I have a Pro-Am again (coconut porter with Baron Brewing), but I have twins due sometime in late July to mid August. I was pretty sure I wasn't going this year, but since getting this latest Pro-Am, my wife is seeming pretty cool with the idea assuming I can find someone to help out with the munchkins while I'm gone. Gotta work out the logistics for sure!

Tasty, you're one lucky mo-foe! Suck it! Us common homebrewers have to scratch and claw our way into the ProAm. We would kill to brew with Vinnie let alone another pro brewer. Either you know'm or you blow'm. The rest of us enter the ProAm Comps.

TastyMcD wrote:Holding a competition isn't a requirement for determining the AM for the ProAM. The AM must have only placed in an AHA sanctioned comp during the prescribed period. Vinnie and I are blowing up the JBA again this year. Huge batch. Details are just being decided but so far, it's looking like it's going to be an epic pro-am collaboration. Can't say much more except to say I get to design the label. I am one lucky mo-foe.

Congrats Mylo!

I took 1st place for my belgian specialty ale (table strength blonde) at the Liquid Poetry Slam in CO on June 6 with the BN listed as my club :pop

Found out June 9 (my birthday) that New Belgium picked up my beer for the Pro-am.

Once things get setup, I'm hoping to get there for brew day (soon, i think) and then the festival in the fall. :drink

This is way crazy. I continue to soil myself. :aaron
