Grains milled, hops measured, starter whirling. Still on track for tomorrow. Got my hands on some Nugget to sub for Northern Brewer. Hope that will fly just fine.

Moment of "aw shit" as I realized my SS braid is fubar'd somehow, so less than $10 at Home Depot and I should have a CPVC manifold in place tonight.

Will just measure/filter the water tonight and all I have to do tomorrow is wake up and light the burner.

Tasty recommends Simcoe, Columbus, or Summit. Still debating on Simcioe or Columbus myself.

I plan to brew mine next Wednesday. That's the earliest I will have a fermenter free. I traditionally brew on Thanksgiving, but I have to work both Thursday and Friday this year. :(

Anyway - I'm hoping to brew this next weekend, but it will depend a lot on what day we get back from various parents and such. If I can get it brewed, I'd like to be a part of this thing. If not, I probably wont be able to brew it in time...

Wish me luck!
