I'd brew anyway. Make a 500ml starter start of the day and brew. Unless you are planning on entering this in comps. Then I would wait. If it was just beer for me to drink I would brew away.

Making starters was a big jump for the quality of my beer. I got a much shorter lag time and a higher level on attenuation which both helped to produce a much better beer. Everyone should try to make them since they are pretty easy once you understand what to do.

so i successfully completed my first starter and pitched it last night...pretty sweet. The carboy was already bubbling this morning. Fermentation in less than 12 hours, that is awesome.

Also, with my new found skillz with yeast i think i'm going to try saving a bit of the American Ale yeast once i move to secondary, but that is a whole other post.
