She is 20 weeks. We just had our 20 week visit and they think we are having a boy. But I am skeptical as usual so I am going to have her do one of those 3D ultra sounds before I paint everything blue. Just gotta be sure before I get all carried away and expand the brewing area to accommodate my assistant brewer.

So you find out in four weeks...That's awesome. You leaning one way or the other?

Well, if the little Peanut is a boy, then I've decided to name him after my father, so I'd kind of like to have a boy. But I'm fine with a girl too. As long as he/she is healthy, I'll be happy.

Let me know how the 3-D ultrasound works out. I'm on the fence if its worth the extra $$.

A friend of mine got the 3D ultrasound... but it still just looked like a wrinkly mini-baby to me... just more compressed due to space limitations.

Hey BR, I remember reading something when my wife was preg about how 3d ultrasound can subject the fetus to unnecessary "stress." I don't know where I read it, but you may want to look into the risks before doing it.

The main reason we didn't do the 3d ultrasound was because it was covered by insurance and then having the questions about its effects on the baby sealed the deal.

It isn't necessary and while neat, you will get to see the creepy looking but lovable kid in 9 months, you can wait.
