Greetings from Chile!

Hey guys, just stopped by to say hey.
From the frappr map it looks like I'm your only listener from south America (and by the state of home brewing in Chile I feel like the only brewer here) :P

About me, I'm a 23 year old university student who is just learning to brew. I just started (am a total newbie) and have brewed two all grain batches. Yep all grain. Why?, you ask. Because there is NO homebrew scene here. Just one very little, very ill-equipped online store with only all-grain materials. My first batch was... more or less bad. My second is in the fermenter, so I hope it comes out well.

Well, that's all for now. Great show! I've learned a lot listening to you and the archives. Thanks a lot!

Welcome Zeke!!

I hope we have you making kick-ass beer in no time. Doc Jon and Jamil are your all-grain jedi's.

Good luck with that second batch. let us know how it turns out.

Hey, I'm from Maine and living in Providencia, Santiago, Chile...Saw your post about brewing here and thought we could share notes. I'm trying to start up a home brewing operation here asap. And/or would like to colaborate with someone.

Hello guys from Chile. I've been here for about two years, but haven't tried to brew a batch yet. Now that it's winter, I'm thinking of getting some supplies together to brew a batch. Does anyone know where to find the raw ingredients and supplies in Santiago? I think mercado central would have the supplies (in some of those kitchen and fereteria shops).
