OK, I finally got a pump, a counterflow chiller, some steel angle, a borrowed reciprocating saw, and the courage to construct a 2-tier brew stand. I've looked at enough photos to know what it should look like. One question, though: I figure on it being about 6 feet long. Width-wise, I want it to be able to accomodate my cajun cooker burners. (I'm constructing a set of rails underneath the table to support them and allow them to slide.) However, this will only give a width of about 18 inches. Will that narrow width provide enough stability so that I'm not burned or maimed beyond recognition? (My wife doesn't have that much insurance on me!) I was thinking of increasing the width to 24 inches. Any thoughts and thanks in advance.
Cheers...Guido
