Slowly I am finding my way back into reality….The Australian invasion keeps us so busy drinking, partying and visiting breweries that it took me longer than usually. I am telling you guys, I have never thought that a man could possibly be thirstier than Justin, but Oz might actually be his master… :aaron

To be quite honest, all freaking anniversary day long I was a nervous wrack! Not because I feared we might face technical difficulties (as if that ever was an issue on the BN :comp ) just because I have been so stoked and thrilled and moved and touched and encouraged and motivated and driven and made felt loved by you listeners for one year, and last Sunday was the celebration of all this AWESOMNESS (is that even a word, if not, it definitely should be one). IT was a BIG day.

From the bottom of my heart I can truly say: I LOVE YOU GUYS and GIRLS! :!:
The anniversary show was even for the BN craziness to a new, probably never reached extends  . The fellowship that we were allowed to welcome at the 21st Amendment was incredible, I was really touched by that (of course I wouldn’t cry, I am not a girl like Justin is, one person in the relationship needs to keep the pants on 8) )…and it was a moment of true happiness and joy. Thank you!
Also the fact that so many brewers and craft beer people found their way out to the 21st Amendment in order to celebrate with us, was incredible. Thanks for that too!

When I logged into the chat room (way early because I had to make 1000% sure that everything worked smoothly, this is why Justin calls me next to other insults a freaking control nazi :hide ), my beloved workspace for Sundays, and I saw so many of you guys hanging out there, now this is when I was really just silent for a moment and once again couldn’t believe how lucky we are having loyal listeners like you guys. Again the overwhelming feeling of AWESOMNESS. :D :D

From there on the night just took its own spin and it became alive for itself. I can not recap all the events of the night (thanks god other people could and gave you the details already  ), not because I was drinking, just because it was so many different impressions that I constantly had the feeling that I had eaten poison mushrooms, swallowed two ecstasies and smoked several crack pipes…at least I imagine that that’s what it feels like.

I want to take this opportunity and thank all the people who have made this happen very much.

Justin: thanks for being a constant inspiration, thanks for never giving up, thanks for sticking to your ideals and thanks for loving my beer more than you love your own. I can’t believe this really came true for us!!!
Dr. Scott: thanks for being the man you are, you are just awesome and I consider myself extremely lucky having you as my friend. You rock man, and your beer is not bad either. Thanks for introducing me to lambics and forcing a new addiction on me. I can not thank you enough for all you have done for Justin and me. And of course thanks for all the good magic you perform in my mouth.
Jamil: I don’t even know if I am worthy enough to talk about your holiness. You have been nothing than awesome to us and you are such a GREAT guy! I really hope you will always be with the BN and in our lives. You are a great person and I am so happy to know you. Your beer is…the benchmark. And I will not give up till I brew something that is as good (or at least that could stand 17 shelves down…)
Jon: Thanks for helping me design the recipe that was turned into our celebration TBN Bock. Your beer expertise is really amazing! You were my first encounter with home-brewing, which means that you took my virginity. Thanks for that too.
J.P.: Thanks for being as awesome as you are and for never punching me in my face even when I am really nasty. You are such a great dude (I said this once now, and now back to insults). You really gotta stop though hitting on my boy-friend. :stik I is still gay if you do it after midnight.
Shaun: Wow. You have been so generous and welcoming and you have given us the chance to celebrate our anniversary the way we were dreaming about celebrating it. I am very fortunate to call you my friend. I love our girl-talks too. Good to find an American girl-friend.
Oz, Gucci, Boob thank you guys so much for everything…your help was truly needed and appreciated. I am so happy I finally got to meet you guys in person. Thanks for hanging out with us. I love you guys.
BN-Widows: Thank you for letting your men hang out with us every week and for even letting them go and celebrate with us in person. Maybe in our second year we can get some more of you into brewing….I would love to see more FEMALE power around (of course aside from J.P.).
Listners, Chat-room folks and forum users: I have said it already. I LOVE YOU. Thanks for allowing a Bavarian girl in your middle, thanks for integrating me and thanks for forgiving me when I pull the angry Daniela card...
Professional Brewers and Craft Beer Industry people: Thanks for coming out to celebrate with us, thanks for donating time to us, thanks for making the BN happen. Thanks for teaching me that American Beer is extremely special and beats most of the stuff I have had in Europe. AMERICAN CRAFT BEER ROCKS! :jnj

I'm scheduled to have Doc's magic performed in my mouth next Thursday. He's so good at it that you need an appointment weeks in advance.

You must have missed the audio clip. I'll have to dig it up, it is classic. Krotch may have it.
